We are excited to report a significant increase in consumer traffic to Healthshare since the HCF Gap status data went live on Healthshare.com.au. Today, AHSA and Medibank have joined HCF in partnership with Healthshare.
AHSA oversees 27 of the smaller private health insurers in Australia. Combined with HCF and Medibank, Healthshare now has an independent relationship with 30 out of the 36 funds in Australia.
The major beneficiaries have been Healthshare premium specialists, who have had a large increase in profile views and phone calls from visiting consumers since the data went live.
Uniquely, Healthshare has a number of strategic primary care partnerships, providing GPs access to the Healthshare referral directory through both their clinical software and Healthshare’s purpose-built doctor portal. This has resulted in thousands of referrals each month going to Healthshare premium specialists.
Healthshare CEO Rami Weiss commented “we're very excited to work with the private health insurance sector, to help them provide more value to their members. We are also delighted to enhance the continued value we provide to our Specialists”.
Local GP, Dr Charlotte Middleton added that “I need to rely on accurate and reliable data about the specialists I refer my patients to. Healthshare's referral directory has become an essential tool for my practice, by providing me with confidence and features which benefit my patients."
