What can I do to make home chemotherapy more bearable?

Such a whirlwind since colonoscopy on 24/9/2013. Resulted in successful surgery for colon cancer on 11/10 which unfortunately tested stage 3 with 2 lymph nodes involved. All doctors were very surprised as had thought they got it early. No colostomy needed and 15 cm removed including some diverticulitis.

Now have a Power Port inserted in chest (just call me Wonderwoman please) and start 6 months of chemotherapy on Monday next. Trying to get organised at home for inevitable tiredness etc, at least I can come home after 4 hours in clinic one day and go back 2 days later thanks to pump system.

Anyone else have experience with home chemo pumps and have any hints to make it easy as possible?
