    As long as ti takes to offer the appropriate relief of you problem. The TENS machine is completely safe and you cannot overdose on it. You will find that you will need to turn it up every once in a while to get the continued level of stimulation required for pain relief. Otherwise you are only limited by battery life !!

    I have heard of truck drivers using TENS machines all day every day.. Although it's not getting to the reason for the pain, it can help get you through the day.
