    Can pilates decrease my blood sugar levels?

    My doctor has advised that I commence regular exercise to manage my sugar levels. Would Pilates help with keeping my levels under control, or do I need to do something more intense?

    Regular exercise such as pilates, along with a sensible diet, will help to lower blood sugar levels. Try mixing up your exercise routine to include pilates, swimming, walking or running. Keep in mind your fitness level when exercising. As you get stronger you can increase the intensity of your workout.
