The power of laughter
Conversation started by karen04I attended an amazing preview screening of "The Smile Within". The SMILE study is a research project that looks at the effect that humour therapy has on older people with Dementia and is conducted within Aged Care Facilities .I was truly moved and in awe of comedian Jean- Paul Bell and his intervention with the residents in a number of facilities. I'm sure that within time Aged Care Facilities will be filled with a greater amount of laughter in their lounge rooms.
