About
Ben Bravery was diagnosed with Stage 3 colorectal cancer in January 2010 and is currently receiving treatment in Melbourne. Ben is a zoologist and educator and has spent the last four years in Beijing where he first worked for Chinese scientific agencies and later started his own science communication business. Having been involved in the communication of science for so long, it was unsurprising that Ben decided to blog about the science of cancer during his journey. Ben is committed to improving the way cancer is communicated to patients and the people that support them. He thinks the best way to achieve this is through humor and discussing aspects of cancer that often remain hidden.
