Gavin is a Tennis Australia Level II certified coach as well as a Fitness Australia Cert IV Qualified Personal Trainer. Gavin holds a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science as well as a Master’s Degree in Education.
Gavin has coached in countries all over the world including Canada, USA, and Australia and has over 18 years training, coaching and teaching experience. Gavin has worked with all levels of tennis players, from NCAA
Division 1 college players in the USA, to weekend hackers. As a player Gavin earned a tennis Scholarship to play at a 4 year NCAA Division 1 University in Texas, USA.
As a Personal Trainer Gavin has specialized in sport specific strength and conditioning for competitive athletes as well as general health and fitness.
At S.M.A.R.T Fit-Training we focus on sports specific training as well as general strength and conditioning.
Gavin has been contracted by Allsorts Fitness Centre to run the Cardio Tennis programs and was one of the 28 coaches selected by Tennis Australia to pilot this new and exciting form of cardiovascular fitness for both tennis and fitness enthusiasts.
Gavin is also available for group and individual tennis lessons and is available for personal training for all ages.
