Director, Osteopath & Real Time Ultrasound Specialist.
With a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a Masters of Health Science in Osteopathy, coupled with over 10 years’ experience as a practicing remedial massage therapist, rehabilitation consultant and sports therapist, Melissa is skilled in assessing the health status and formulating an individual treatment program for each client.
Throughout her career Melissa has acquired a wealth of experience and knowledge working with individual clinical clients, injury & chronic disease and with high performance athletes. Melissa is also currently working with the Hawthorn football club, as well as lecturing in Functional Anatomy and Bioscience.
Melissa has specifically focused her training and attention on thoracic spine, visceral, incontinence, women’s health and paediatric treatment, dry needling techniques and Real Time Ultrasound diagnosis. She is an adept and engaging speaker and educator who throughout her 10 years of further education not only received several awards and commendations of excellence, but also worked diligently to develop her hands on treatment and experience.
As a track and field athlete herself Melissa is committed to achieving the best outcome for her clients and athletes. Through her diverse, yet thorough experience her treatments are individualized to allow for continued progression and recovery.
